The Sustainable Development Goals

The world around us is continuously changing. We are faced with issues that impact everyone on a global scale, these include climate change, poverty, access to education, women’s rights and much more. UNESCO has responded to these challenges by prompting UN governments to create policies for change, using 17 goals as a base framework for action and policy development. The 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) to transform our world include:

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of universal goals and targets adopted by 193 UN member states that outline a vision for the future for people and the planet. They span over 15 years, from 2015 to 2030. Education is paramount in creating solutions to these global issues. By facilitating the young minds of the world with informed knowledge on how it is possible to make a difference, we can create a better world for the future.
