About Us

This term we have been working on a multitude of projects from the Kenya collaboration project to our ongoing Eco Brick project.

The Kenya collaboration project is a new project for this year. Usually the Transition Year students get the opportunity to Travel to our sister school in Kenya but due to COVID this was untouchable, so as a substitute we decided to do the collaboration project where the two schools would meet over zoom and interview the 5th year students who went to Kenya to see what they took from the experience the students in Kenya did a similar interview with the students who received the students from BlackRock last year. We also held a collaboration mass celebrated by our sisters school’s Principal Fr John Wambu. All of these sub projects work to the ultimate goal of the Kenya ambassador Visiting our school and the Irish ambassador visiting their school.

The greyhound racing project is again a new initiative brought forward by a number of the TY students, we aim to raise awareness for the awful atrocities that take place in dog racing, we are raising awareness through the Podcast interviews on the New TY project ‘Rockcast’ also we aim to raise awareness on social media through art, as art is an international language and people often relate to It .
